RACE INFORMATION

Date: July 5th, 2026 (Sunday)

Time: 8:45 am - Heats commence at 8:45 am and run throughout the morning.  Start times will be confirmed at the pre-event meeting.

Entry Fee: $50.00*

This includes the $7 fee for a one day membership with Triathlon Ontario (see Note 1 below). If you are already a Triathlon Ontario member, the fee is $43 (you will need to provide your Triathlon Ontario membership number on the registration form and present your membership card when you pick up your race kit)

Duathlon $10.00 Entry fee ~no t-shirt for duathlon but one may be purchased

Entry Fee Includes:

  4. Fast, accurate timing and results provided by Sportstats

Registration Deadline:

July 1st, 2026 (11:59)

* Registrations received after June 19th, 2026 cannot be guaranteed a complete race kit.

 

Note 1:  All athletes are required to be a member of Triathlon Ontario to compete.  Non-members must purchase a one day membership for $7 (included in registration fee)

RACE DETAILS

Age/Distance Categories: 

Categories are based on the athletes age as of December 31st for the year the competition is held.

     10-11     100m        5.0 km       1.5 km

     16-17     300m       12.5 km      3.0 km

* Flotation device allowed.

Note - One parent may assist in the 4-5 age group
 

ROUTES  ***New bike and run routes for 2026***


DUATHLON for kids age 3-5 - Bike one lap of the track (approx 350 metres) and run 100 metres. Located beside DDH.

SWIM - will be in the heated indoor pool of Dundonald Hall.  The pool is 6 lanes wide and

25 m long.  There will be a maximum of 2 athletes in each lane and the race marshals will count the number of lengths you have to swim.  The race marshal will indicate when you have two lengths left to swim (they will place a flutter board in your side of the lane as you approach the turn).

PRE-RACE

 

Registration:

Registration must take place in advance. There will be no race day registrations. Participation is limited to 150 athletes.  Enter early to avoid disappointment! To register, please see the “Registration” page of this website.

 

Race Kit Pick-Up:

Race kits are available for pick-up at Dundonald Hall.  A parent or guardian must accompany the athlete to sign a waiver.  No one else may pick up the race kit.

  1. Saturday (day prior to race day) from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm

  2. Sunday (race day) from 7:30 am to 8:30 am

 

Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting:

A mandatory pre-race meeting for all athletes will be held at 8:30 am.

 

Race Start Time: 

The race will begin with the first heats at 8:45 am SHARP!

Awards Ceremony

The top 3 athletes in each age group (male & female) will receive an award that will be presented at the completion of the race.
